Kapitel 146: DAVIS ARRESTED

"What do you mean by the officers are here?" questioned Mr Davis.

"Their cop car is parked right in front of the gate and they are demanding to see you", one of the bodyguards replied.

Mr. Davis immediately sprang up from his seat, grabbed his walking stick, and walked toward Jasmine's room. When he opened it and saw Jasmine sleeping in the bed, he released a sigh of relief, thinking they could have probably received a false report.

"Let's go have a chat with the officers", he said and stepped out of the mansion. One of the bodyguards opened the gate for the officer to come in. "Can I help you with anything, officers?" Mr Davis asked with a smile full of pride.

"Mr Davis, you are under arrest for the attempted kidnap of Erika Walters," said the officer without wasting time and in a blink of an eye, the smile of Mr Davis faltered, replaced with a big frown as he stared at the officer who just spoke.
