Her reply brought a bitter smile on Fredrick's lips. His Lycan was still in control as he asked Everett again, raising his eyebrows playfully,

" Love and forgiveness? So tell me then, Princess Everett Quintrell. My father treated your father like his own brother. What did he do to him? Do you want to know how he died?"

Everett bit her lips tightly together. She had no idea about the torture that they had gone through. Her father was the king even before she was born. She never heard the history of how their kingdom was conquered. Even she didn't remember her mother, mentioning any of this tragic history. But ever since she started to grow up, she noticed that it was forbidden to talk about their history in the castle. The reason was unknown.

Everett blinked her eyes between her tears,

"..I...I.. am sorry..."
