Due to the wisdom he absorbed from the tree, Dylan would suddenly undergo a transformation in maturity at that very instant.
"I can see things that are not meant for mere mortals to see. I am witnessing things that cannot be explained to anyone. I see how insignificant humans are in the face of multiple realities. But what I don't see are dreams; I can't see any dreams; I don't understand," said Dylan.
"The dreams of all things are infinite. Each person has their own individual dreams. Now you should realize that the dreams you saw while in your hometown were not yours but were dreams of others," said the ominous voice.
Dylan couldn't understand what The Voice was saying, as he replied in a questionable manner, "What do you mean?"
"Unlike many other dream walkers, you are a vessel, a vessel made just to walk dreams. You have no dream, child; you are one in infinite," answered the ominous voice.
Dylan wasn't moved by this, for it seemed as if he knew for a while that he had no dreams and was the dream of others.
People didn't really like Dylan and called him a fraud because of how he narrated his dreams. People disliked Dylan for the fact that he somehow managed to narrate a person's dreams so perfectly as though they were his own. But no one in his hometown knew of this, as everyone kept their dreams a secret from one another.
Only holding the grudge deep at heart for things like "that boy thinks he's special,...", "he thinks he's Joseph,", "very annoying brat...".
Dylan would then understand how he once had the same dream with his best friend and was able to narrate it perfectly. "So it wasn't even a similar dream to begin with." Dylan Whispered...
In this uncertainty, Dylan and the voice ventured deeper into space.
