Kapitel 10: Pictures and noises
Dylan couldn't understand what was going on, as he looked confused as to how this was possible. He fetched some sand with his hands and looked closely at the sand on his palm, concentrating on a particular grain of sand. As he looked closely, he began to notice an image or images moving. He began to hear some noise emitting from the grain of sand he was looking at.
As he kept looking focused on that grain of sand, he suddenly saw himself within another place, this time, no longer the desert. He seemed to be floating in this place, which was "shabby", and looked like a very old image. He saw people and strange things within this weird-looking place. He was frightened, and in that moment he panicked. He immediately blinked after panicking and saw himself back in the glassy sand desert.
"I don't understand, what's going on?"
He couldn't comprehend what he was seeing. He started hearing endless noises emitting from different grains of sand. He closed his ears in horror, but the noise wouldn't stop.
The noises from different sand grains had different feels to them. In that moment, he fell down crying, "gnashing" his teeth together in horror as he couldn't understand how he could hear every single word and sound emitted from every single grain of sand clearly.
He stood up and started running aimlessly, but the more he ran, the more noise he could hear. He couldn't understand what kind of torture this was.
He fell down, face down, on the ground, and in that moment, he gave up trying to live.
