I turned sharply towards Derek who still had his big hand upon my good shoulder, and shrugged his hand away.
I returned my gaze back to where Tom was chasing after Jerry who tricked him into putting his hand upon the mouse trap with cheese.
Suddenly, Aria open the door in haste.
"Jeana, I'll see you later!"
Aria was practically running away from probably trying to intimidate her for the truth.
"Ok, seeya later." I said with a weak smile. Mr Roberts then popped in his head.
"Please get well soon Miss Mcredie and have a good night."
I'll try.
"Thanks Robert, for everything." I said with deep respect for him. If it wasn't for him carrying me out quickly and driving fast and effectively on the road I would have lost a lot of blood.
The door shut and I was left with the lion beside me.
"So are you going to tell me what happened to you or not?"
I was interrupted as blue eyes caught my attention.
Scrunching up my brows I refused to speak to him. I had completely ignored, stayed away and looked the other way ever since the fast and furious moment we shared.
"Still giving me the silent treatment bambi?" he spoke with a grin.
Yes bitch. I am.
I just gave him a cold look and with one index finger I pushed my thick black glasses up and continued on looking at the tv.
Derek scoffed.
"Ok, if that's the way you want to play bambi."
Suddenly I felt a huge weight on my bad shoulder. Derek had snaked his arm around me and pulled me closer towards him in a stupid painful side hug.
"OW!!! Derek let of me you jerk!" I almost screamed. However my tone of volume was a little louder and firmer than before. I pushed away from Derek and slapped his arm angrily as he chuckled at my heated reaction.
With out a doubt I got up quickly, however that was not clever when I found myself suddenly very very drowsy, it must be the pain killers taking effect. I quickly clutched the wall beside me for support.
My legs seriously felt like jelly now.
"Jeana?"
Crap its Dereks voice behind me.
"Go away. Leave me alone Derek. I have nothing to say..wwwooaaahh.."
I found my self leaning desperately on to the wall.
"Crap, my legs." I said worriedly as they shook. I couldn't keep my weight up due to sudden weakness coming over me.
Before I went down.
"Let me help you with that?"
With one swift effortless move he swooped me off my feet and into him, making me suddenly gasp out of surprise.
"Princess." He winked making me mentally slap my forehead. This guy!
"Put me down right now Derek." I said through my clenched teeth. But he mischievously grinned back at me.
"What the magic word princess?"
"Now." I dead panned.
"What's that I can't hear you?" he moved his head closer to me and I stretched out further away, squirming weakly at my feet. He can't hear me I scoffed. I knew he was playing even whilst I was injured and I hated that he was carrying me away in his arms like I was paper light.
He soon managed to open the door with me in his arms and walked out of the room, with everyone staring at us.
"Oh my god this is so embarrassing. Derek please put me down!" I snapped wrapping my arms reluctantly on his neck and hiding my face at the crook of his neck ducking out of everyone's view.
Derek chuckled and I swear I felt him kiss my head at one point but I couldn't know because my whole body felt really heavy and dizzy upon me.
"Bambi, no need to be shy. You know girls would kill to be in my arms like this?" I looked up with my very dizzy head and unfortunately I was feeling so drugged up that my head rested upon the side of his face like a messed up druggie.
"Yeah, well I don't want to be! Please...Put me..(yawns)..Down..So (yawns)..I can run (yawns)..Run...Away from you?" My eye lids were getting very heavier by the second and my head drooped backwards now resting upon his shoulder.
"What did the doc give you bambi?"
"UrghhherrmmmPILLZZ??" I staggered out suddenly so lazily with my mouth. I couldn't even form words since my whole body started to feel numb and heavy.
I started getting worried, and looked at him with tears briming my eyes.
"Whoz..Rung..Wee..Mee?" I asked staring at my toes next and trying to move them. I gasped and whimpered out afraid clutching on to Derek tightly.
"Deek..I can't fil legsss!" I was probably having a very bad side effect to the drugs and I was affraid that it was making me paralyzed for a few minutes.
"Jeana you're going to be fine." He said giving my cheek a sweet kiss.
"Ewwwstappitdeekhed!" Like a sloth I raised my hand and palmed his head away and groaned resting my head upon his shoulder reluctantly as he carried me away.
I saw him chuckling and smirking as he passed some nurses looking like some kind of hero when he passed them.
"Wow, you're on some strong medication bambi?"
I couldn't stand the sight of him and soon let deep sleep take over me.
"Sleep tight princess."
"Roman get the door." I heard him say through my deep sleep.
"Jeana seems knocked out on you bro?"
"That's what happens when you're on high medication."
I heard the sound of the elevator doors closing.
"So, what did Aria Lee say?" Derek asked whilst holding me, without a sweat. Ok, he's clearly strong, i'm not going to lie.
"They went paintballing out in the woods, and Jeana got lost and that's when this so called 'dog' attacked her.'"
"No dog attacks mercilessly attack by the neck like that." Derek said in deep thought.
"You think a wolf did it too?"
A wolf?!
My heart nervously pounded.
"It's hard to tell." Derek sighed.
I heard the door open and soon felt the cool air of the night. I felt myself being put in the cold leather seat at the back. My eyes fluttered open and I looked a little dazed at Derek with my head mildly spinning.
Did he mention a wolf attacked me?
No, not possible, although it did look like one. How could it possibly get into Aria's territory like that?
Dad soon arrived and got into the front seat with Roman taking the wheel. Derek naturally took the opportunity and sat at the back behind him. I automatically scooted near the window looking out in deep thought and worry.
Was that beast, really a wolf? From where I stood it definitely looked like one. There was no doubt it was. It was awfully huge for it's size too.
"Eric did you manage to get the shirt she'd been attacked in?" Derek asked out of the blue.
"No, they cut her out of it and threw it away, during her little surgery."
With a careful sharp turn around the corner, my half sleeping body slowly leaned into Derek's warm shoulder. Still half awake I went to lean away, but his arm gripped my shoulder gently allowing me to rest upon his arm.
I was so tired and drained that I didn't try to push Derek away. His arm was warm and welcoming and rested my head once more against him closing my eyes shut. I felt his hand squeeze gently at my hand and I was confused to find, that he was actually providing me with comfort.
Hmm. Perhaps, he's not an asshole like he thought he was.

Derek: I'm going to find out what attacked you Jeana and for your sake, you better pray it isn't a wolf.
