Kapitel 141: Is there proof

The third guy was staring dagger at him; if looks could kill, Declan was sure Alex would be dead now.  The guy had expected him to give them the money as a token of gratitude for their effort, but he had just picked it up again.

Once they were back outside, Alex shook his head. "Those guys are so dull. How have they been dealing? It will be easy to burst this place up."

"Yeah, but they aren't giving any clue about their boss.  It might be easy to burst it, but it's not important if we can't link Jack to this."

"It's in his publishing house; what other link do we need? Is it possible for people to deal in your workplace without your knowledge?"

"Okay. So, now we know he is at home. There is a possibility that Mia is in his house, how do we get her out of there?" Declan was more anxious now.  The fact that she might be close to him than he expected prompted his heartbeat to increase. "We can't just break into his house or can we?"
