It was a bit inconvenient as far as Nick was concerned but otherwise a small price to pay for the immortality that binding the realm would bring. Still Nick wanted to complete the ceremony before he bound his realm in order to make sure that the huge benefits of it would remain even if he lost his body. Modifying the ceremony was already done by this point and after shelling out a good five hundred thousand points to the system he also had all the ingredients for the ceremony. With that taken care of Nick informed everyone that he was going to be out of touch for the next week or so.-
The ceremony required him to be in a place that had a vast amount of mana which in this case was the island for Nick. In addition to that though Nick could not have any thing on his person at all , not even his clothes or wand. Considering how hard it was to carve the ritual circles Nick made sure to carve each of them in the same room at the same time before he removed everything from his body and began the first ritual.-
Being the sneaky bastard he was Salazar had created the entire ritual set with parseltongue commands. Nick however had gotten far greater control of his language ability and thus was able to actively speak the language without aid with a bit of trouble. The first ritual was the primer for the rest and purposefully destabilized ones magical core and circuit network. Doing so was needless to say heavily damaging to ones body as the rampant energy started to attack his flesh and blood. This was part of the process though and lead into the second ritual that forced that same rampaging mana to be assimilated into each of the cells of ones body.-
This created a magical conductivity to each cell that made casting magic with ones body easier as if the flesh and bone had become a wand core in and of themselves. The cells too weak to adapt to this change were rejected from the body violently which moved into the third ritual. This ritual worked to boost ones vitality by tying it to their mana that healed and strengthened the body as a whole. It also had the benefit of improving ones natural healing ability based on their power.-
The fourth to seventh rituals were where Salazar warned held the highest chance of problems cropping up. The fourth ritual destroyed ones entire mana circuit system and forced the body to absorb the fragments to be reused in the fifth ritual. The fifth ritual rebuilt the mana circuits from scratch without any obstructions or useless pathways at all and required the one undergoing the ritual to remain perfectly still. Once the mana circuits were reformed however they were flooded with mana to forcefully expand and strengthen them when the same thing was done with the mana core with the sixth and seventh rituals.-
At the end of of this seventh day Nick felt incredible while also filled with a sense of weakness at the same time. It was an odd sensation to say the least but he knew that the suffering he had endured was worth it as he felt his entire body thrumming with power. Checking the status in the system he couldn't help but laugh uproariously as he saw that he had entered tier four. Even more Nick knew that any flaw that had been innate to his body was entirely gone after the rituals had effectively rebuilt him from the foundation up.-
The changes to his anatomy from his prior rituals as well as the imperfect mana circuit system that was left over from transforming from a human to a celestial elf was also gone. In it's place was a mana circuit system that perfectly suited his race and he was surprised by the difference. Before he had assumed his circuits to be impressively high in number but compared to now it was a joke. Mana flowed beneath his skin and through his flesh and blood almost like a huge complicated spiderweb. -
He now understood just how incompatible his old mana circuit system was with his body and felt conflicted. The elves in Celebrimbors world were descendants of beings that were easily considered gods here with almost no human impurity at all so the entire race was born with dense mana circuits that made them superior to any other race in magical talent. Add on the influence of the celestial bird and Nicks new mana circuits were monstrously powerful. 'In a way I knew this was going to be the case but it's hard to accept just how unfair of an advantage this is.' Nick thought with a sigh.
