As the Bead Rider began to move, Jack focused his energy on the Bodily Refinement Bead, channeling it into the boat's turbines. The boat glided smoothly across the water, picking up speed as they left the river and entered the open sea. The wind whipped through their hair, and the waves splashed against the sides of the boat, but Jack remained focused, guiding them towards their next destination.

Aria leaned against her father, snuggling into his side as they raced across the water. "Where are we going next, Daddy?"

Jack grinned as he glanced at his log pose, which was slightly slanted upward. According to Crocus's journal, there was an island in the sky, but it was considered a legend. Jack believed in its existence. Anything was possible in this world, and he would never doubt the Log Pose.

Looking at Aria, Jack grinned and pointed to the sky with his finger. "We're going to the sky, Princess."

Aria's eyes widened, her excitement returning full force. "Really, Daddy? An island in the sky? That sounds amazing!"

Robin, not fully understanding the conversation but sensing the excitement, clapped her hands and repeated, "Sky! Sky!"

Titi watched the interaction between Jack and his daughters, her eyes softening with a mixture of admiration and longing. She had left her home and her chance at being a queen to travel with Jack, but seeing him with his family made her feel like she had made the right decision.

Aria's curiosity was insatiable, her bright eyes sparkling as she bombarded her father with questions. "Is there humans in the sky or angels, Daddy? Is there a god? Is the sky island heaven? How can an Island float in the sky? Is there a sea for ships to sail? How will we go to the sky if we can't fly?"

Jack's calm blue eyes regarded his daughter thoughtfully, considering her questions. It was rare for him to express deep emotions, but with his family, he allowed himself a touch of warmth. Aria's inquiries brought a hint of a smile to his lips. "Well, Princess, I don't know all the answers, but from what I've heard, there might be humans living in the sky. As for angels, gods, or it being heaven, I'm not sure. We'll have to see when we get there."

Aria's eyes widened even more, her fascination growing. "Wow, that's amazing! But, Daddy, how can an island float in the sky?"

Jack chuckled, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "I don't know for certain, Princess. There are many mysteries in this world, and an island in the sky is just one of them. We'll find out together when we get there."

Robin, who had been listening intently to the conversation, chimed in with a gleeful, "Sky! Float!"

Titi, who had been watching the interaction between Jack and his daughters, couldn't help but join in the conversation. "And how do you plan on reaching this island in the sky, Jack? It's not like the Bead Rider can just fly us up there."

Jack's eyes glinted with determination, a stormy blue hue hinting at the depth of his resolve. "I have a few ideas, Titi. Once we get closer, I'll find a way. There's always a path forward."

As they continued their journey, Aria bombarded her father with more questions, her excitement never waning. Jack patiently answered each one, doing his best to share his knowledge and understanding of the world with his young daughter. It was a side of him that was rarely seen by others – the tender, nurturing father who was deeply devoted to his family.

When they reached the open sea, where the Log Pose was showing straight upward, Jack scratched his head in wonder. Although he believed in the existence of the Sky Island, he had no idea how to reach there.

"There's a ship, Daddy!" Aria exclaimed, pointing towards their west. Jack focused and saw a black flag in the distance.

"Time to go inside the Pocket Space, Princess," Jack said, his tone serious. He sent Aria, Robin, and Titi back into the Pocket Space, as the pirate ship approached.

As the ship drew closer, Jack took note of the crew aboard. They looked rough and battle-hardened, but something in their eyes seemed off. He could sense the desperation and fear, which intrigued him. The captain, a burly man with a long beard and a scar across his face, appeared to be the driving force behind their actions.

The pirates attacked Jack with a cannon, but he easily punched the cannonball back toward their ship, then jumped on their vessel. With incredible speed and precision, he quickly subdued the pirates, breaking their will to fight. Afterward, he began to question them about the Sky Island.

"What do you know about the Sky Island?" Jack asked the captain, his voice calm and cold, his eyes betraying only the slightest hint of the storm brewing within.

The captain hesitated, fear evident in his eyes. "I-I don't know much. Just rumors, stories. People say it exists, but no one knows how to get there."

Jack's gaze intensified, the deep blue of his eyes turning into an angry storm. "Do not waste my time. I need to know if you have any valuable information."

The captain swallowed hard, his resolve crumbling under the weight of Jack's relentless gaze. "There's... there's an old sailor who's been to the Sky Island. He lives on a nearby island, but he's not easy to find."

Jack asked where the island was, and the captain pulled out an eternal log that pointed towards Jaya Island. After learning the name of the old sailor, Walter Jimenez, Jack proceeded to break the pirates' masts and cripple their ship. He then stored his own Log Pose into his pocket space, so it wouldn't adapt to Jaya's magnetic field, and jumped back onto the Bead Rider to go to Jaya to find the old sailor.

As the Bead Rider sped towards Jaya Island, Jack couldn't help but think about his family in the Pocket Space. He felt a pang of guilt for leaving them behind, but he knew it was for their safety. The world was a dangerous place, and he would do whatever it took to protect them.
