Old Ding smiled again, and winked at Grandpa Ning. "Trust me, you'll thank me later." He said, as he placed his last mahjong tile on the table, revealing a winning hand.

"You dare to lecture me, you old goat?" Grandpa Ning tossed the mahjong tiles in anger, and said, "I'm not playing. This is ridiculous." 

Old Ding frowned, and looked at Grandpa Ning. "There's no need for insults. I was just trying to advice you."

"That's right, that's right. There's no need to be rude, Old Ning." Someone chimed in, siding with Old Ding. It was Old Lin, who had been enjoying the game from the sidelines. 

Grandpa Ning did not say a word, as Mrs. Ning, who was observing the situation, spoke up. "Old Ding, don't be angry at him. You know how he is. He's very protective of Ning Yu."
