Kapitel 68: Arianna/Thea

As I weaved through the lively crowd, my heart raced with mixed emotions. I tried to ignore the curious glances and whispers that followed in my wake.

Every step I took was purposeful, my heart pounding in my chest, my body tense with anger and apprehension as I navigated through the sea of guests.

I was torn between my desire to stay away from him and my curiosity about the secrets he seemed to hold.

I couldn't let myself be drawn to him, couldn't allow myself to be swayed by his charm.

The weight of his gaze followed my every move. It was as if his eyes were fixated on me, making it even harder for me to concentrate on my escape.

I don't want to spend another moment alone with him, I don't know if it was because I was angry with him or because I am afraid that I will succumb to his charm the more time i spend with him.

I was halfway through the grand room, near the dance floor, when the music halted, some of the dancers leaving the floor and new ones joining.
