OPENING UP TO EMELIA

"Lily, wake up," Emelia said, opening the door and tucking her head inside the room.

"I just ordered coffee and doughnuts from Cookie city, you better get up before I consume everything," Emelia threatened playfully.

Lily opened her eyes slowly, she groaned into her pillow. Everything: Jack, his kisses, his whispers of sweet nonsense, everything was all a dream. Tears were threatening to fall from her eyes but she withheld them.

"Don't be a lazy bone and get down from the bed," Emelia closed the door behind her, heading to the kitchen.

Lily reluctantly got up from the bed, her body was groaning in protest. She wasn't feeling refreshed from her sleep, rather, she wanted to go back and continue in her fantasy world with Jack as the hero.

She walked to her door, opened it and stepped away from her room, allowing her nose lead her towards the kitchen
