Kapitel 135: Recruitment (1)

As the group continued their journey through the Calabrian countryside, the knight kept a watchful eye on the peasants. He knew that they were not trained soldiers. 

Despite the cold and the rough terrain, the group remained determined and focused. They moved with uneaven steps, each person carrying their share of the load.

As they walked, the group of soldiers chatted and laughed, enjoying each other's company and the beautiful scenery around them. They saw wildflowers and heard the sound of birds chirping in the distance. For a brief moment, they forgot about the hardships of their daily lives and simply enjoyed the present moment. All of this was, however, stopped by the knight  ''Shut your traps;'' shouted the knight '' this is not a walk''he bellowed, his voice cutting through the air like a thunderclap. The group immediately fell silent, their smiles fading as they realized the knight did not  like one bit of it.
