Kapitel 16: Chapter 16
During this time, another attendant whispered something in Arianna ears. She nodded and made an announcement. "We have another appointment to keep, you people know what it is about and how vital it is." She said while Nessandra and Danny were taken out by an attendant.
She just remembered something.
"Ah mom, Danny had written his book. Here it is. You know, check for approval." Her mother had nodded at that. At this point she nodded and left. If only Arianna was aware what her actions had wrought. That single book would be the cause of the biggest fight and most damage caused by an Asari brawl up to date.

"Well, lets look at what my grandson has written", Seiha had thought to herself. While among all the other Matriarchs, she was the one that was taught to be the most easy going one. It seemed that she had really lucked out. When Arianna wanted to have a bond mate with Alessa.
Most of the other family had been against it. There was a simple reason for it. If two asari mates, then there is a high chance that the off-spring that they will have will be an Ardat-Yadetshi. She had hoped that such a case would never happen to her daughter. Because the reality was that not every Asari got the opportunity to go off-world. There was also the factor that most other species die out before the Asari except the Krogan but the Krogans have a tendency to pick lots of fight and one of these fights usually ends up in their death.
There was also the matte of being aesthetically pleasing. Before the humans showed up, there was no species that were similar to them in any way. Krogans were too war like. Being intimate with the Turians usually led to an allergic reaction to both species especially if there was an exchange of fluids being too different lipid based species. Salarians were too short lived. And for the Bartarians, just no.
Alessa had brought her Danny, her grandson. That had made her worth it. Her political influence had been increasing like crazy nowadays. Plus they held the last survivor from the Prothean era. With knowledge of that era. She may even take steps to secure him further to the family. But the way her daughter and grand daughter had been looking at him, she may not need to. That does not mean that she wont do it for fun.
"We have an agreement, anything that is displayed by the Prothean survivor must be shared." Lysolte, the asari matriarch responsible for commerce had interjected.
"I am aware, I am just going through the draft of a book before forwarding it." Seiha had replied.
"Well, it can be copied." Calling one of the assistants. "Make copies for this so that it can be distributed to the matriarchs."
Seiha saw her book being taken away. "I want the original." She had yelled at the assistant.
In a few minutes, a number of asaris had returned with copies of the book and had distributed them.
She had received her original book. The first page had been displayed on the Holo projector as well.
"A story taking place on the Human world. How quaint." One of the asari had remarked. It took place in a place named Japan 200 to 300 years before humans had discovered the mass relays.
The premise was interesting, a boy finding a notebook with the help of which he could kill anyone. Being afraid of its god-like power. The first kill being a man who had attacked a school. Then the boy slowly expanding his operation. The revelation of the shinigami world. Starting by killing every criminal he could find in Japan and slowly going after international targets. Corrupt politicians and the like. The duel between L and Light. The manipulations of Light of how he decisively choose to lose his memories to succeed in his plans. A second death note taken by a girl.
The final talk between L and Light where he asks him if he had ever spoken a truth and Light triumph at the end. An entirely emotional roller coaster. The ending with two successors of L, Near and Mello.
The Matriarchs have lived long lives and had done almost everything there was to do or can be done. There was very little that can entertain them or catch their interests and this book certainly caught their interests.
The Matriarch had proceeded to discuss the plot. Sating that L had suspected that Light may have been the killer. Seeing as he had asked him if he had at any point in his life told the truth.
At that point Lysolte had stood up, "Daniel is joining up the cultural sector under me. He would take us to new heights. Just look at how his work has managed to rile everyone up."
"He is joining up the ranks of our specialized forces. We need to be prepared for the reapers. Before his introduction to the citadel."
"No, he must join our Fleet. Think about it, if he could make the entire ship intangible."
"No, his powers must be researched. Think about what we may discover."
And as all the Matriarchs had started to put their own department first and how Daniel would be better served to be there. A brawl had broken down. Soon their followers had joined, biotics were unleashed. The fighting had spilled onto the streets above. By the end, it looked like a proper battlefield. No weapons were used but biotics were used extensively.

While in transit to a secret Monastery where Ardet Yadetshi were kept in isolation on Planet Lasseus.
"Fuck, How long will it take us to recover." Arianna was asking on a Holo Call.
"The problem is not recovering, its who will foot the bill." An agitated voice answered her.
"Just give them all the bill and tell them to pay up. Say somethong about them not fulfilling their honor." Arianna had answered. A hand on her face. She should have expected this to happen. Whenever those Matriarchs gather nothing good comes off it.
Both Danny and Nessandra were asleep. They could only be given one cabin due to a few restrictions with the ship used to ferry passengers to the Monastery.
Looking outside, she estimated that they would reach the planet within 6 hours. Quitely, she had nodded at the staff and gone back to the cabin assigned to them. It was small, there she saw Danny sleeping with Nessandra having wrapped herself around him like a coil. Quitely, she took out a camera and took a picture. Something to tease them with afterwards. Danny should know how attractive he was to them. She wondered how he would survive training with the Asari unit.
Quietly, she had gotten in as well and wrapped herself around both of them. Her hands began to wonder through his body and she started to feel it. She had an urge to meld with him right here. But she controlled herself. She and Alessa had made an agreement and it was better not to tempt fate before that. Wrapping herself around him, she smelled the scent emitting from him and went to sleep.

"So, are the reports true." Spartacus asked. "Do the asair truly have access to a Prothean."
"Technically, not a Prothean but a client race. Same one that rescued people from the verge. The one where the Quarian led a ship back into council space." Valern had replied. "Recommend that you have primarch put pressure on the asari to bring him here. Capabilities worrisome."
"I would do so. Why did the Prothean chose to save him them." Spartacus had asked.
"Unknown, need more data." Valern had answered. "Must also deal with the human ambassador and the Bartarian ambassador."
Spartacus sighed, "Don't worry friend. I will deal with it."
There was much to handle. They had decided to keep the asari out of this meeting. While the council was said to decide all matters. They still each served their own races as well. Plus the matter was also that whatever was discussed here would have been reported back to the Asari Matriarchs. For now, the turians and the salarians will hold negotiations with the asari for the last survivor of the prothean empire.
