The old man turned and began making his way through the village, the group falling into step behind him. Nova, intrigued by this mysterious elder, quickened his pace to walk beside Arjun.

"Who is that man?" he asked in a hushed whisper. "He seems to have a great authority."

Arjun nodded. "That is Guru Vihaan, one of the twenty-one Masters of Yalindor."

Nova's eyebrows rose. "Masters?"

"Indeed. Our society is ordered by spiritual strength and martial prowess," Arjun explained. "There are 108 villages across the Yalindorian lands, each overseen by a Guru. Above the Gurus stand the 21 Masters like Vihaan, the most powerful and enlightened among us. And above even them is the Supreme, our overall leader."
