A nervous line of sweat ran down my nape, my fingers strummed a fast paced beat against the surface of the diner's table, as my eyes alternated between Kian and Camile while they conversed.

"I can't believe that you didn't reject him! Like, oh my gosh get out of town! You two are even marked?!" She cried out, raising her pitch too high that it drew us a bit of attention.

"Like does that mean you two have gone all the way? Like…" she leaned in across the table and mouthed the word 'Sex' to us, clearly not paying boundaries any mind.

Kian smiled. And I knew I was screwed over.

"I'm sorry, but I don't discuss my personal relationships with anyone." He said he was sorry, but he didn't sound sorry in the slightest.
