Prince Ninth kicked the pebble along his path before releasing a curse of frustration. He strode towards his palace with a dark and grim expression etched upon his face. Until now, his people had not managed to unearth any additional information about the woman he had encountered, and this continued to sour his mood.
Every passing day, he contemplated what actions to take once he successfully captured the elusive woman, yet his people had been sluggish in their progress. How could his father have provided him with such inept individuals? They could not even track a mere sorcerer's movements effectively!
To Prince Ninth, sorcerers were inherently inferior to demons. Their veins lacked the innate magic that demons possessed, and they were compelled to learn and cultivate magic rather than being born with it. This differentiation in their magical essence reinforced his perception that humans were naturally less adept in the arcane arts than demons.
