"Oh, you're leaving already?" Adelle responded, a bit of disappointment evident in her tone.

Adelle smiled. "I had a great time, too. It was nice having you here. Take care on your journey, Big Sis!"

Giori mustered a smile and turned to walk away. "Goodbye, Adelle. Perhaps our paths will cross again someday."

As the womanly figure slowly disappeared into the depths of the dark forest, Adelle couldn't help but feel a wave of nostalgia wash over her.
