Kapitel 53: Contrasting Friends, Prophecy Shields, and Final Revelation

Ever since my little prep talk with Ares, I have been feeling a lot more comfortable.

My stomach wasn't aching anymore, my chest was light, and the curious eyes did not pierce like daggers. 

A mate could do wonders. 

I could hear the plenty of murmurs in the crowd. A lot of them were positive, but the side of the elders from the werewolf packs only had negative things to say. 

But that did not faze me anymore. I did not care about that. Or about what anyone says.

The venomous glares of Azar quickly quietened those who were spewing poison, and a chuckle escaped me as I saw Elio joining her in her glaring session and Damien sighing at both of their antics, but not stopping them. 

Even if it does not matter if anything goes wrong, I just want the ritual to go smoothly. 

It was a certainty that I wanted for myself.
