Kapitel 69: Chapter 69 Blast From the Past

Skylar’s POV

I gasped awake, as sudden and searing pain rippled through my body. It felt like someone was digging inside my chest with a dull knife. The pain radiated from my chest and outward to the rest of my body, feeling like I was being torn apart from the inside.

Struggling to breathe, I stumbled out of bed and clumsily make my way to the bathroom. A male voice called after me, fear and concern edged into his tone, but I just snarled at him. Or I could have if I could. But the pain was too much and in the end, all I could do was let out a low whine.

Panicked, I clutched the bathtub--- wait? When had I fallen on the floor? I couldn’t remember. All I knew was never-ending searing pain, and I opened my mouth to scream and---

Then it was gone…!

As quickly as it came, it was gone again.
