Kapitel 33: CHAPTER 33: LITTLE CINNAMON
They had to go through another security check since they were two gates leading to the Aiguo mansion. After parking the car, they both alighted and two house butlers rushed to them.
"Greetings, Young Miss, Sir." The older butler offered his hand for a handshake.
"Hello, Uncle Daiki and Uncle Kaito. This is my husband, Zhao Haoran."
"Oh...I have heard a lot about him. He is the Boss of the Chinese underworld and the president of the Zhao Corporation. It's an honor to meet you in person, sir."
"My pleasure."
"Young Miss, should I inform the Master and Madam of your arrival."
"No. Where are they currently at?"
"Together with the four young masters, they are in the dining room having breakfast."
"Breakfast? Right now? It's ten in the morning."Zhao Xia said as she looked at her wrist watch.
"They arrived home late yesterday from an auction."
"Oh...okay. Will you please take our luggage to my room? We will stay here for a week before heading back to China."
"Sure thing, Young Miss." The butler answered as he took the car keys from Zhao Haoran."Oh....and congratulations on your marriage."
"Thank you."
Holding his hand, Zhao Xia led Zhao Haoran in the mansion whilst saying."Welcome to my humble abode, hubby."
"Thank you, sweetheart."
Since most of the areas in the mansion were carpeted , their footsteps as they entered the dining room couldn't be heard. They found the family members dining while engaging in a conversation amongst themselves.
Chang Kim, one of the twins was the first to notice the couple standing by the entrance of the dining room.
"Lil siz, what are you doing here?" He asked, causing the other family members to look at the entrance.
" Why? It's my home. Shouldn't I be here?" She asked as they both walked closer to them.
"You know that's not what I meant." He said as he walked to them and suddenly hugged her whilst whisking her off the floor and twirling her around.
"You are making me feel dizzy. Put me down." She complained.
"Oh..my little cinnamon. I missed you so much." Chang Jing, her first brother said as he hugged her.
"I told you to stop calling me that." She complained, but deep down she liked it when he called her his little cinnamon. It made her feel cute.
"Move." Chang Hou pushed his brother to hug his little sister. "It's been almost a year since we saw and you are growing up so fast." He fake sniffled whilst releasing her.
She rolled her eyes at her dramatic brother and hugged Chang Lim who just patted her head and said. "Welcome home, little one." He was a man of few words and an introvert.
"Thank you, big bro."
"Oh, my baby. Are you okay? Are you hurt somewhere?Have you been safe? Why didn't you tell us you were coming?Are you...."
"Mom, am okay.Am in perfect shape and am safe so stop worrying, will you?" Zhao Xia said as she cupped Gia Kim's cheeks.
" Okay. " Gia Kim said as she hugged her daughter.Zhao Xia then hugged her dad as he said to her. " Welcome home, princess."
"Thanks , dad."
Zhao Xia turned to look for Zhao Haoran so that she could introduce him to her family. What she saw left her bewildered. Her four brothers were sizing him up and down, analyzing him, the only thing left was to take him to a medical lab for proper examination.
" Guys,stop making him uncomfortable." She said as she stood next to him and held his hand.
"Well, who is he?" Chang Jing asked.
" This is my husband and the love of my life, Zhao Haoran. Hubby, these are my family members. My mom and dad, Chang Jing my eldest brother, Chang Hou my second eldest brother and the twins, Chang Lim and Chang Kim, my third eldest brothers."
"Did you just say, husband? You are married?" Chang Kim asked bewildered.
" Since when have you two been married? And why are you the first one among us to be married?" Chang Hou asked.
" It's not my fault that you guys haven't settled down yet."
"Hey, I have a girlfriend." Chang Kim argued.
"That's not the main issue here, you guys. It's about them. You haven't answered our question yet.Since when have you two been married?" Chang Jing asked.
" It's almost four months. And why are you acting clueless? Dad knew that I was married. Didn't he tell you?"
They all turned to look at Chang Haoyu. " You knew?" Chang Hou asked.
" Hehe." Chang Haoyu laughed awkwardly as he scratched his neck.
The four brothers then looked at Zhao Haoran. " Do you love our sister?" Chang Lim asked .
"Yes, more than I love myself."
"And what do you do for a living?" Chang Hou asked.
" You four seriously don't know who he is?" Chang Haoyu asked in disbelief.
" No. That's why we are asking him, duuuh." Chang Kim responded.
" I am the president of Zhao Corporations and the Boss of the Chinese underworld."
Silence.
After they loaded for a while, the four brothers looked at him in disbelief. " Damn, that's why his name sounded familiar. How can we let our guest stand for such a long while? Come ,sit down, brother in law. We are sorry we couldn't recognize you in your casual outfit." Chang Hou said as he patted one of the seats in the dining room, revealing a very bright smile.
Chang Haoyu sighed. "Haoran, don't mind him. It's just that he has always wanted to meet the boss of the Chinese underworld because he respects and admires you for taking over such a large organization yet you are only twenty eight years old." He said as they all sat at the dining table.
" I understand." Zhao Haoran replied.
Chang Haoyu gestured for one of the maids on stand by to serve the couple some breakfast.
"So, for how long are you guys planning to stay here?"
"Actually, we arrived in Japan last week. Haoran had some business to tend to so I patiently waited for him to finish it so that we could come visit you. We are planning to stay with you for a week before flying back to China."
"Oh...okay."
After a hearty breakfast, Zhao Xia led Zhao Haoran upstairs to her room where they would be spending their nights for a week.
The butler had already brought their suitcases over so all they had to do was place their clothes in the closet. After unpacking, they lay on the bed to catch on some sleep .
"Haoran?"
"Hmm."
"What do you think of my family?"
"I think they are very nice people. And they are very protective of you, especially Chang Lim."
"Oh, yes. We grew quite close when my father brought me home four years ago."
