Kapitel 25: Temporary Amnesia

Sire squinted her eyes as all she could make out that moment was darkness.It was raining and there was a strike of thunder outside which made her jerk in bed at it. The storm was just like the one from last time. The one that sent her away from home.

There was an instant confusion as the memories of the dead men flashed in her head. She closed her eyes wishing it had all been a nightmare but deep down she knew that was impossible. Not once had she had a nightmare. The only explanation now was that was truly what had happened.

Sire shut her eyes tight once more trying to convince herself that non of what happened was her fault. With that not helping she instead decided to think that whatever Nathan and Arioch did was for the best of her. Who knew what would have happened if they hadn't appeared. Being on where she was really didn't help at all. She was weak as a vegetable. It pissed her off that she couldn't protect herself.
