The obelisk's surface rippled like water, revealing an ethereal mirror-like surface. The mirror-like surface reflected the images of the four mages.

The ground beneath the four mages trembled slightly, resonating with the surge of magical energy pulsating through the structure.

As the room filled with the hum of raw power generated by the four Pure-grade mana crystals, the mirror-like-surface of the obelisk glowed brighter and brighter, casting dazzling patterns of light that danced across the chamber. 

The walls seemed to hum with power, and faint blue runes flickered to life, tracing intricate patterns all along the length of the fortress.

With a deep rumble, sections of the massive wall began to shift, revealing concealed alcoves filled with an array of artificial mana circuits that were inscribed on the foundation of the fortress spanning across every section.
