Kapitel 395: Ink Battle Interlude (1)
"Huh? What? Such speed… How is that… Even possible?" Thunderclap Hall's Supreme Elder gasped, once he finally realized that the woman was no longer in the room.
"Hmm, It seems that many of these new arrivals are unconscious." Hua Qing Si noted, looking closely.
"Sisters! Where is Leiji!" Feng Ying shouted as she flung the door wide open, her voice full of concern.
"He is in the Thunderclap Hall Great Territory. And as soon as the drum began beating these people showed up here as well. Apparently Young Master Leiji had murmured a title that made Sister Smiles take action without any words." Hua Qing Si answered promptly.
Bai Yi scanned all of the Thunderclap Hall's people, letting out a sigh. "That boy really spent the effort to protect them even under the watch of a Royal Lord… He's always been like this…" She said with a smile. "Take care of these people. And make sure at least two people are watching them at all times. They have just been turned into Ink Disciples and then back again thanks to Leiji." She explained.
"Really? His ability has improved quite a bit from the last time he had to do that. Seriously an instant just to change them back? Even Brother Yang would struggle with that." Qi Tai Chu chuckled, stroking his beard. Yet he wore a serious face, clearly awaiting an order.
"Excuse me, Seniors. What is an Ink Disciple? And what is a Royal Lord?" Thunderclap Hall's Hall Master asked, struggling to his feat. "Are my people alright? Both my son and my daughter are among us… If that thing took…" He added, clearly showing the rage a father would have losing his own descendant.
"Calm down. Everyone here is fine. And with Leiji over there. The only one that could possibly do any real damage is the Royal Lord…" A man's Voice boomed. "I can feel your frustration… As I am in quite a similar situation… A damn Royal Lord…" The voice continued. "DARES! I was going to wait a bit longer to see how things played out with the Myriad Demon Cave Heaven. But now… NOW!!! DAWN! GATHER AT ONCE!" The Voice commanded, carrying with it a fearsome anger unlike any other.
Void Gates appeared next to all of the members of Dawn Squad. However, they weren't the only ones coming. Oh no, there were a number of other hopefuls each raring to go. The Void gates appeared near them as well.
Each of these gates radiated a clearly defined power of Spatial Principles. And that it came from an 8th rank Open Heaven.
"Seems like Husband is on the move. Yeah, I'm sure that memory is playing through his mind right about now. This is going to be fun to watch." Feng Ying said, before walking through her portal arriving on Breaking Dawn, the Dawn Squads ship.
Su Yan followed through a portal of her own making, she wasn't going to miss this for the world. That and her killing intent was far beyond the point that words could accurately describe. The closest would be, the wrath of one pissed off mother, after her baby was attacked or worse. It made the others gulp until she passed through and boarded Breaking Dawn.
It didn't take long to finish boarding. A matter of a few breaths was all it took. And then the ship set off. Due to the higher number of cultivators onboard, all eager to show off, the ship went faster than normal. More people means more power to propel the ship. Which they did famously well. Ignoring anyone else that may see them pass by as the path to battle grew ever shorter.
Su Yan and Yang Kai stood close to each other. Yang Kai clenched his fist to the point of bleeding. His fury was unmistakable, his dragon side was clearly coming to the surface. Su Yan noticed this as well, though she couldn't hold back her anger any better.
"It happened again. Only this time, I'd be shocked if he made it out unscathed. I'd be there right now if I wasn't worried about fighting a Royal Lord right now… I need all of my power at once to be a match." Yang Kai grumbled.
"It's fine. We will reach the place of battle in no less than an hour… Even Leiji should be able to hold back an army by himself for that long. Our Son isn't so weak as to die from something like this. Even still…" Su Yan said, attempting to sound like her normal self. "HOW DARE THEY TRY TO HURT MY BABY!" She yelled, as her anger erupted with the cry of a phoenix.
"Smiles is already on her way there now. She should arrive shortly. There might now even be a fight left after she arrives. That is, if she is even half as angry as you are sister." Bai Yi said, attempting to lay some comforting words in there.
"Oh I think we all know exactly how pissed she is. But that just makes it all the more worrying… If she makes one wrong move, the enemy could capitalize on it." Feng Ying said.
"No more talk. Only focus and give orders. Feng Ying, give out the orders. I'm going to have my hands full." Yang Kai said, stopping the useless discussion.
~ Somewhere in the Void of a Great Territory ~
"Oh? Look at who it is." Smile said. Grabbing the guy by the collar and pulling him along.
"What? AH!" He yelled, having been caught off guard. "Smiles Old Ancestor… What are you doing? I was on my way to High Heaven Palace. That brat dared… I was going to teach him a lesson." The 8th rank grumbled, deciding to just match her speed as best he could. Since it would be useless to try to escape, or hide anything from her.
"Ha, you want to teach him a lesson and all I want to do is teach the Royal Lord targeting him right now, what it means to court death this way." Smiles stated. "You'll be helping with some of the weaker enemies while I deal with the Royal Lord." She ordered.
"Understood, the Ink clan is always the first priority… Wait? He is fighting the Ink Clan? At the Great Emperor Realm?" Myriad Demons Cave Heaven's Supreme Elder said, leading into a shocked expression.
