Those who were following Ash and Max were not ordinary people.

They did not have the nervousness and fear that usually came with the things they were about to do.

Many would be a little nervous when they were about to do something and were a little worried about the tiniest thing going wrong.

It was even more likely that they would feel nervous if they had some doubts about what they were doing.

If they were doing something wrong and held some guilt then there would be some lingering fear attached to it all from them fearing being caught or that their actions would bring greater problems for them later.

Even if someone was watching others from far away and was only observing them and nothing more, they could still feel guilty for doing it or nervous that they would be found.

It was usually the case for those who were less experienced in such things and were still full of doubts.
