Kapitel 118: Madelyn's Rough Moment

Madelyn suddenly felt scared and let out a loud shriek. She tried to cover her ripped skirt with one hand, and with the other, she quickly pushed Asher away, begging, "No! Asher, what are you doing? Stop!"

Asher had seen girls act hard to get. They'd say no, but they would actually want to be close. His feelings got in the way of his judgment, and he couldn't tell if Madelyn really meant no or if she was just playing a game.

But he knew how to deal with these situations. He held Madelyn with one hand and gently touched her head with the other. In a soft, deep voice, he whispered to her, "I'll take care of you. Trust me."

Madelyn shook her head, confused, "No, I like Louis!"

"I'm not any worse than him, but you never noticed me. I've been watching you for a long time. You're so pretty and gentle, like a cute little bird. You're impossible to resist. Let me take care of you tonight, my little princess."
