Kapitel 98: Chapter 98 An Unexpected Surprise

Alicia stopped in her tracks, surprised. They had been trying to have a baby for a while now, carefully tracking the days, but without any luck. This time, they hadn't really thought about it, and she was suddenly pregnant.

Louis dropped the grilled squid he was holding into a nearby trash can. He took her hand, and quickly walked towards the car. His face was serious, but his heart was filled with happiness.

As they walked, Alicia saw a pharmacy and suggested, "Let's get a pregnancy test just to be sure. Sometimes my period is a few days late, so it's better to check."

"Okay, you wait in the car. I'll go buy it."

As Lucas opened the car door, Louis held the top to make sure Alicia wouldn't bump her head. She bent down and got in.

A few moments later, Louis came back with a pharmacy bag.

"Here."

Alicia took the bag, noticing at least ten pregnancy tests inside. She laughed and said, "One would've been enough. What a waste!"
