Kapitel 86: Chapter 86 Nighttime Flight

In a flash, Madelyn's face went ghostly white. She weakly stood up from the couch, gripping the armrest for support, and glanced at Louis with a helpless look.

"Louis, don't be so mad. This was Uncle Henry's idea. I'm just following his orders and giving you a document."

Her voice was gentle and sweet, paired with a pitiful expression that could soften any guy's heart. But Louis was way past being affected by her charm. He didn't even bother hearing her explanation. Growing tired of her tricks, he grabbed her arm, lifted her up like a bag of potatoes, and pushed her out the door.

"Slam!" The door shut with force.

Louis walked to the coffee table, picked up his phone, and dialed Henry. Cutting straight to the chase, he asked, "Did you send Madelyn over?"

Henry replied, "Yes. I said I wouldn't bug Alicia, and in return, you agreed to keep an eye on Maddie at work."
