Kapitel 42: Chapter 42 A Lovely Day of A&L

Alicia was shocked, unable to understand why Louis suddenly wanted to kiss her, and not just a quick peck. She wasn't in the mood to share a kiss with him, so she tried to push him away. But Louis held both of her wrists in one hand, making her unable to move.

Unable to free herself from his grip, Alicia closed her eyes and surrendered to his kiss. He kissed her passionately, even aggressively, quite unlike his usual cool self, as if he were trying to prove a point to someone.

When Alicia was almost out of breath, Louis finally let her go. He wiped away the trace of their kiss from the corner of her lips and said softly, "We're not getting a divorce." It sounded as if it wasn't up for discussion, and he had made the decision.

A whirlwind of thoughts filled Alicia's mind, "I appreciate that you're considering my feelings during this time, but your father…"

Louis replied nonchalantly, "I'll talk to him when we get back."
