minato said alright lets get going and both dissapeared into the trees.
both kakashi and minato were running in a constant speed or jumping from tree to tree in a constant speed of around high jonin speeds.
minato and kakashi kept going at the constant jonin speeds wiht them both taking breaks when needed or every once in a while.
after another break and them running over an hour minato turned towards kakashi saying that with the pace and speed we are going we would reach in a couple hours or 4 hours exact.

both kakashi were going at speeds thats not able to be percieved normally and stopped at a tree in a clearing.
it was the kanabi bridge it is very important since it connects The Land Of Earth and The Land Of Fire.
and it was also... the place where everything went wrong for team 7 and kakashi.
both minato and kakashi were observing infront of them seeing the team of leaf ninja being overhelmed and were getting tired.
and seeing them all getting tired all the rock ninja released earth jutsu at them to finish them off.
minato seeing that was about to go down there pulling his kunai with his flying thunder god formula was about to throw it to get them out of the way saving them.
before he could he sees a hand stopping him which was kakashi's looking at kakashi questioningly why he did that seen a look in his eyes saying he got a plan minato nodded deciding to trust him.
kakashi pulled his hand out and a high concentrated amount of lightning covered his eyes minato smiled thinking it was chidori but it was not chirping like 1000 birds it was more crackling.
Hearing the crackling instead of it chirping he didn't know why but he will figure it out some how.
Rushing towards the enemy before the jutsu's hit.
he canceled out all 5 of the earth jutsu that was sent at the team hitting them he called out the technique raikari!
All the rock ninjas eyes widen in fear as all they see was a blur happen to show infront of them and being knocked back a little from there jutsu being destroyed.
They seen a kid with white hair and sharingan eye and a flash of yellow and minato namikaze appear next to him.
The team from konoha was shocked and happily sighed in relief as they were saved.
The rock ninja were shaking saying y-your minato namikaze and kakashi hatake.
They were about to retreat when they heard chirping sound behind them they before they could say fast!
Kakashi called out chidori current electrocuting them knocking them out.
Kakashi turned to minato seeing his shocked face smirked and said what do we do with them?
Minato said we kill them…
Kakashi's eyes darkening nodded turned around creating another chidori pearced them through there chest killing then before they could scream in pain.
Both of them went to check on the team asking if any of them were injured or hurt then saying they were just exhausted.
With both kakashi and minato nodding at that minato said lets get going back to the village.
They all disappeared into the trees leaving without a trace that they were their.
