Kapitel 139: You Can Rely On Me

Xagrien woke up with a jolt. His breath was ragged as if he ran a mile. Still disoriented after waking up from his lucid dream, no, it was the memories of his past, Xagrien looked around.

There was no rain or raging storm. 

There was no stench of blood lingering in the air nor did the body of his beloved mother around.

Just a tranquil forest shrouded with darkness and him sitting on the ground while he was resting his back on the tree.

'It was just a dream,' Xagrien whispered to himself.

He isn't sure if he should be relieved or not because it isn't real but the melancholy that it left lingered in his heart. No matter how many years have passed he would always mourn for what happened to his mother. This is the reason why he cannot bring himself to tell it to his beloved moon elf lord.
