Ramika returned to the guesthouse along with Sana, but surprisingly none arrived to welcome them. The entire three-floor house was silent as Hills and Sana grew mildly suspicious.

And to spike her doubts, the electricity was cut off abruptly even though the building's electricity was managed by a separate generator in case of any power cuts.

"Ramika... Can you hold on for a second?" she asked, while her eyes wandered around the darkness looking for the cleaned yet visible blood spills here and there, instilling a shot of fear into her veins.

"What happened? Why are you breathing heavily right now?"

"We need to leave... Now!" Sana shrieked aloud and grabbed the unaware human cub's hand, rushing outside, with panic running high in her blood.
