The journey back to their apartment was quiet.

However, Ye Qing Xin was glad that Su Ming Yuan was not saying anything to her. After what happened in the elevator just now, Ye Qing Xin needed time to calm down.

Until now, her heart was beating fast. She could still smell Su Ming Yuan's scent all over her, especially now that she was seated in his vehicle.

Once every few minutes, Su Ming Yuan would cast a few glances at the person beside him. He saw that Ye Qing Xin was looking out the window. However, her mind was somewhere else.

He wondered if Ye Qing Xin minded that they were both standing closely while they were in the elevator. Just now, he was not trying to take advantage of her.

Su Ming Yuan saw that there were too many people in the elevator and simply wanted to protect her from being pushed by the people around them.

Because of their previous misunderstanding, Su Ming Yuan could not help but be cautious around Ye Qing Xin.
