Kapitel 518: My devious husband

The emperor's speech was concluded and a female singer of folk music took to the stage, singing a song that was beloved by the older generation. With the speeches over, the stiff environment became somewhat freer. Conversations were launched among the people and interactions ensued. The foreign dignitaries went forward to greet the emperor, shake hands with him and take pictures. The princes and Princess too took part in this ritual, clearly very used to the proceedings as they needed no direction. 

"Do we have to go infront and greet them too?" Chi Lian asked Muyang. 

"No." he said softly, we can simply sit here and wait for directions to the buffet. Or servants can deliver our meals to us depending on one's choice. Either way, if you are hungry you can now eat the snacks I am sure you managed to sneak in."
