The day of the Hua auction finally arrived and Chi Lian was dressed to stand out in her beautiful long blue gown with white floral patterns along the hem.

She kept spinning around proudly to show off her dress and shoes. She was wearing the white shoes with pearls which Muyang gave her as a gift.

One of the make-up artists from the entertainment company had professionally applied her make up to make it appear as if she was barely wearing any make up. With the engagement ring on her finger, she decided not to add any other excessive jewelry.

"If you keep spinning, your hair might fall out of place." Her mother warned.

"I look too lovely not to spin around mother, just take a look at me, have you ever seen a more beautiful woman in this empire?" She supported her face with her two hands and tried to look as cute as possible.
