Kapitel 44: He Was Not A Shy Fae

"How much for a night?" Isaac asked the innkeeper, holding onto Maximus' reins. 

As much as Issac was mad at the horse shifter for teasing him, he was pretty much protective of her. Not just because Aldric would hang his head on a post if anything happened to his woman. He was a male and it was in his nature to protect his female counterpart 

"Ten silver coins for a night." The innkeeper said. 

From the greedy glint in her eyes, Issac could tell that it was not the usual price and the woman was taking advantage of him because he was not from around here. But he did not care, the least he wanted to do was draw attention to himself. 

Issac reached inside his purse and passed a heavy coin purse to her through the slate in the door. He watched the way the woman's eyes widened and she almost seemed to salivate.
