Suddenly, a murderous intent appeared in Veer's eyes, causing the girl who was talking to him to stop mid-sentence.
"You all get ready for a fight, kill him!" the girl stammered, instructing her friends.
But then, to everyone's surprise, six knives from Veer's belt started waving in the air. Veer pondered in his mind, "Hmmm... so that means each of my knives has the power of 1 ton. It will be very easy to kill them all."
Confusion filled the air as one of the three thieves exclaimed, "What is happening? How is he doing this? Is he an air elemental magician?"
The girl quickly replied, "No, there is no wind blowing near his knives, which means he is not a wind elemental magician. According to the information we have, he is a warrior, not a magician."
The other thief questioned, "So how is he doing this?"
Veer, still entranced by his flying knives, noticed his eyes turning a light golden color.
"Kill him!" Veer snapped back to reality upon hearing those words. "I don't need my mental strength to kill them all. I can kill them with my blade."
Veer sent his internal energy to his leg muscles, accelerating his speed and increasing his strength.
The speed of a warrior who is now a rank 2 warrior should be 56m/s, but Veer used some of his mana to increase his speed to 65m/s.
"Phew, thankfully I didn't use all of my mana like before. Otherwise, maybe my speed would have been too fast for me to handle," Veer thought to himself.
With his newfound speed, Veer sprinted towards the three thieves, leaving them bewildered and unsure of what to do.
"How is he so fast?" the girl wondered.
But then, there was a sudden shout from the girl's corner. When they turned to look, they saw two people standing where their partner was just moments ago. One was their companion, and the other was their intended target, Veer.
Veer grabbed one of the three companions by the neck, lifting him into the air. The man struggled to speak due to Veer's tight grip.
"Leave him, you bastard!" one of the two remaining thieves shouted.
Ignoring their pleas, Veer tightened his grip even further, causing the man to gasp for air. Desperate to free himself, the man tried to break free, but Veer pressed harder.
"The person next to the girl is a wind elemental magician. Cut him with your wind magic spell!" girl of the thieves cried out.
However, it was too late. Despite Veer's attention being momentarily diverted, he quickly evaded the air elemental spell and continued choking the thief.
After a few minutes of struggle, there was a loud thud as the man ceased to fight. Veer had broken his neck.
Blood dripped from the man's nose, and his eyes turned red. Veer tossed his lifeless body aside without a second thought.
As Veer threw the body, the warrior girl, armed with two small swords, lunged at Veer's neck. Reacting swiftly, Veer dodged the attack, narrowly escaping harm.
In retaliation, Veer delivers a powerful kick towards the girl. Though she manages to evade the kick, she quickly recovers and attempts to strike Veer with her short sword. Veer skillfully blocks her attacks with his blade.
Suddenly, Veer senses something. A strong gust of wind rushes towards him from behind, but he swiftly moves away due to his speed. The gust of wind, however, collides with a tree, splitting it into two parts.
Seizing the opportunity, the girl launches another attack towards Veer, only to be met with resistance from his blade. Veer then infuses his kick with internal energy and mana, increasing its power. The kick lands solidly on the girl, causing her to be propelled into the air and crash into a nearby tree. Motionless, she remains on the ground, prompting Veer to keep his distance.
"Ah, he's not just a rank 1 or 2 warrior. He must be a rank 3 warrior. I must quickly flee from here," the girl thinks to herself after being hit by Veer's powerful kick.
After dealing with the girl, Veer shifts his attention to the magician who had attacked him with a spell.
When the magician realizes that Veer is focused on him, he understands that his life is in imminent danger. He attempts to use his magic spell, but before he can do so, Veer infuses his blade with mana, causing lightning bolts to crackle across it. With lightning speed, Veer charges towards the magician.
Veer swiftly appears behind the magician, his blade slicing through the air with a sharp "whossss" sound.
As Veer comes to a stop, droplets of blood fall from his blade, the lightning bolts dissipating.
When Veer turns around, he sees the magician with his neck slashed, blood pouring from his upper body.
Having dispatched the magician, Veer scans the area for the girl he had forced into the tree with his kick.
However, the girl is nowhere to be found.
"She had to run in a hurry, otherwise it wouldn't be good for her. She knows my face, but I have no idea who she is," Veer muses.
Afterward, Veer approaches the tree where he discovers a clue indicating someone had been injured. He also finds a mask that belonged to the girl.
"It seems like the girl must have been struck by a branch from this tree, causing her to bleed. She must have gone in that direction," Veer speculates as he observes the trail of blood.
Without hesitation, Veer starts running in the direction indicated by the bloodstains. Simultaneously, his adversary, Fiona, is running in the opposite direction, clutching her wounded abdomen.
"Hahaha," Fiona's labored breathing echoes as she flees.
"I have to find a hiding spot soon, or that bastard will kill me. Ah, this wound is unbearable," Fiona thinks to herself, enduring the pain.
Unbeknownst to Veer, the girl who seeks his demise is none other than Fiona, whom Veer had encountered at the border train station in Noida City.
As Fiona continues to run, she ventures deep into the forest. Seeking a momentary respite, she leans against a tree to catch her breath. Suddenly, she senses someone approaching and resumes her sprint.
Eventually, Fiona discovers a large cave within the depths of the forest. The cave is spacious enough for a truck to pass through, and a cool breeze emanates from within. Despite this, Fiona disregards the cave's potential shelter and enters anyway.
"When all this is over, I won't spare that bastard," Fiona seethes in her mind, her thoughts filled with contempt for Veer.
From the depths of the cave, a faint sibilant sound can be heard.
