Even after arriving at the training ground, Lucien remained lost in his thoughts.

"During this combat session, I expect each and every one of you to push yourselves to the limit. This is the time to test your strengths and identify areas for improvement."

"If you don't take this seriously, today might just be the last day you see this place. So, please, approach this matter with the utmost seriousness," Instructor Rodrigian stated in a severe tone. 

"Yes, sir!" The students said in chorus. 

Instructor Rodrigian started pairing up the students, carefully selecting one who he perceived as more experienced and another whom he considered to be less experienced.

As he made the assignments, he could be seen engrossed in reading what appeared to be a statistical report, indicating just how seriously he regarded this matter.

After a considerable amount of time, it was finally Lucien's turn to be paired up.
