Without hesitation, Gobryx pulled the triggers of his pistols, bullets erupted from the barrels in rapid succession, slicing through the air with a sharp crackling sound. Each bullet found its mark on the massive trunk of the tree, striking it with force and precision. With every impact, the tree trembled and shook, the sound of the bullets meeting wood resonating through the forest.
The first bullet tore through the bark, leaving behind a deep gouge, while the second bullet punched through the wood, causing splinters to fly in all directions. The third bullet found its mark with a resounding thud, creating a visible crack that raced up the tree's surface. Then, as the fourth bullet struck, a cacophony of snapping and cracking filled the air, signaling the tree's impending collapse.
As the bullets blasted through the air towards the tree, the bear's acute senses detected the sudden disturbance. Its head snapped in the direction of the goblins, its eyes narrowing with an instinctive understanding of danger. With fast reflexes, the bear's massive form shifted, muscles tensing in anticipation.
In a flurry of movement, the bear extended its claws, enlarging them to an impressive size. With a powerful roar, the bear slashed its colossal claw towards the descending tree. The claw and tree met in a clash of force and resistance, their collision sending vibrations rippling through the surrounding area. Splinters flew in every direction as the bear's claws ripped through the falling tree, halting its trajectory just moments before impact.
As the bear clashed with the large tree, Gobusuke's instincts kicked in. With a swift motion, he unsheathed his katana and suddenly, a crackling energy enveloped the sword, giving it an eerie aura. The atmosphere around Gobusuke became charged with electricity, a tangible manifestation of the imminent storm about to be unleashed as the black-colored lightning danced along the length of his blade.
With each passing second, the power coursing through the katana intensified. The wind picked up, swirling around Gobusuke, carrying with it the scent of coming thunder.
Then, with a resolute swing, Gobusuke sliced through the air, directing the unleashed magic towards the bear. His voice cut through the silence, icy and commanding, as he uttered.
"Raisenpuu."
Instantly, an explosive torrent of power erupted from the blade, manifesting as a swirling vortex of dark lightning and raging winds.
As the bear's claws tore through the falling tree, it momentarily triumphed over the obstacle. However, its victory was short-lived as a sudden realization dawned upon the creature. The air crackled with an ominous energy, and the bear's attention snapped towards the impending danger. Its keen instincts warned of the looming strike, and with a surge of desperation, the bear unleashed a barrage of sharp spikes from its back hoping to fend off the incoming threat.
However, the bear's defensive spikes proved futile against the relentless power of the black lightning whirlwind. The swirling vortex, crackling and twisting with malevolent energy, sliced through the air, tearing apart the bear's spikes with ease. The clash between the spikes and the whirlwind echoed through the forest, creating a thunderous sound that filled the surroundings.
With a mighty roar, the black lightning whirlwind slammed into the bear's massive form. The impact reverberated through the forest, causing a deafening noise. The sound was a mixture of crackling electricity, fierce winds, and the explosive collision of forces. It shook the trees, rattled the ground, and filled the air with a chaotic symphony of power.
The devastating power of the whirlwind left a trail of destruction in its wake. Trees were uprooted and shattered, their trunks splintered and branches scattered across the forest floor. The area where the whirlwind passed became a scene of wreckage, with debris strewn everywhere, and the peaceful landscape now marred by the aftermath of the unleashed magic.
When the storm finally subsided, leaving behind a charged and electrified aftermath, the bear stood battered and wounded. Its once-formidable presence was now diminished, evident in its ragged breathing and bloodstained fur. While the creature had survived the onslaught, it was clear that the encounter had taken its toll, leaving the bear weakened and vulnerable.
Seizing the opportunity presented by the bear's weakened state, Gobryx tapped into his arcane powers, conjuring the essence of his skill, Arcane Barrage. With determined focus, he unleashed a torrent of successive shots, each bullet propelled towards the wounded creature with deadly precision. The bullets streaked through the forest, aimed at the bear's vulnerable spots.
However, the bear, despite its injuries, still possessed a flicker of power and resilience. In a last-ditch effort to defend itself, the creature unleashed a barrage of spiked projectiles from its battered form. The air was filled with a whirlwind of lethal spikes hurtling towards Gobryx, aiming to counter the onslaught of bullets.
The bear, momentarily relieved at its counterattack, believed it had regained a semblance of safety. It fixated its gaze on the seemingly weakened goblin who had unleashed the devastating lightning magic. The creature's confidence swelled as it perceived an opportunity to eliminate Gobryx and Gobusuke.
Unbeknownst to the bear, Gobius had been patiently biding his time from a distance, waiting for the perfect moment to strike. Hidden in the shadows, he had assumed a comfortable position, taking aim through his scope with meticulous precision. Gobius activated his skill Shadow Assassinate and the faintest whisper escaped his lips, "Kage Ansatsu."
As Gobius uttered those words, his body seemed to meld with the very essence of shadow. A shroud of darkness enveloped him, rendering him nearly invisible in the dim forest. His aim locked onto the bear, and with a steady hand, he squeezed the trigger, setting the bullet into motion. In an instant, the projectile surged through the dense foliage, traversing the distance with incredible speed.
Time seemed to slow as the bullet found its mark, piercing the bear's skull with lethal accuracy. The resounding thud of impact resonated through the forest, followed by the creature's weighty collapse to the ground. The mighty Razorback Grizzly Bear, once a symbol of strength, now lay motionless, its life force extinguished by the silent executioner, Gobius.
As the life force drained from the fallen bear, a familiar surge coursed through the bodies of the goblins. It was a sensation they had experienced before—a sign that they had leveled up.
Meanwhile, in the End Forest City, Gray and Gobplan engaged in a lively discussion about expanding and improving the city. Excitement filled the air as they sketched out plans for buildings and innovative infrastructure. As they immersed themselves in their visions, Gray's suddenly received a series of notifications.
Curiosity sparked, Gray quickly checked the notifications, his eyes scanning the messages. A small smile spread across his face as he read the news, a glimmer of excitement and anticipation in his eyes.
[ Ding! Your summons 'Gobusuke, Gobryx, and Gobius"' has killed a 4-star Razorback Grizzly Bear ]
[ Ding! Your summon 'Gobius' has leveled up. ( LVL 8 > LVL 9 ) ]
[ Ding! Your summon 'Gobryx' has leveled up. ( LVL 8 > LVL 9 ) ]
[ Ding! Your summon 'Gobusuke' has leveled up. ( LVL 9 > LVL 10 ) ]
"Hmm... Grinding up levels, huh? Taking down a 4-star monster, not bad."
With the notifications acknowledged, Gray parted ways with Gobplan, promising to continue their discussion later. Heading towards the training area, Gray spotted Gobulus and called out to him. Gobulus promptly approached.
"What is it, boss?" Gobulus inquired, his tone respectful.
Gray explained his plan, assigning Gobulus as the temporary overseer of the territory. He instructed Gobulus to maintain order and ensure the goblins' well-being while he teleported to Gobusuke's location to assess the situation.
Gobulus nodded, acknowledging his new responsibility. "Got it, boss," he replied, ready to fulfill his duty with dedication.
Gray contemplated the best course of action and activated his skill, 'Ether Jump.' In an instant, he vanished from his current location, leaving behind a slight ripple in the air.
Seconds later, he materialized near Gobius, opting to join the sniper first as he deemed it safer than teleporting directly to Gobusuke's potential battle scene. As he reappeared in the distance, Gray's senses momentarily wavered, and a wave of dizziness washed over him.
The rapid displacement through the dimensions left him feeling slightly nauseous, as if his body was readjusting to the sudden shift. He took a steadying breath, willing the discomfort to subside, and focused his attention on the task at hand.

After regaining his composure, Gray couldn't help but let out a wry chuckle. "Is this the drawback of teleportation skills, or am I simply not used to it yet?" he mused to himself.
As Gobius, the Shadow Sniper Goblin maintained his vigilant watch over the battlefield, his sharp senses picked up on a subtle change in the air. His gaze shifted, and to his surprise, he spotted Gray standing nearby. The sniper's eyes widened in disbelief, his voice trembling with a mix of astonishment and uncertainty.
"Is that... you, b-boss?" Gobius stammered, his tone laced with a hint of disbelief. "H-how did you get here so quickly? Is this some kind of illusion?" His mind struggled to comprehend the sudden presence of his esteemed leader in this remote location.
Gray's smile widened as he reassured Gobius, his voice carrying a sense of amusement. "No, Gobius, it's not an illusion. It's really me," he replied, chuckling softly.
"I used my teleportation skill to join you here. Seems like it caught you by surprise, huh? Don't worry, I'm just as surprised as you are about how well it worked. The skill has its drawbacks, though. Made me feel a bit nauseous, to be honest."
Gray paused, giving Gobius a reassuring nod. "But enough about that. How's everything going here? Is the situation under control?"
Gobius blinked in astonishment, trying to process Gray's unexpected arrival. "I...I can't believe it's really you, boss," he stammered, a mixture of disbelief and relief evident in his voice. "I thought I was seeing things. The situation is under control here, thanks to Gobusuke and Gobryx's skills. We took down a powerful enemy, a 4-star Razorback Grizzly Bear."
Gobius glanced around, his gaze sweeping the area. "But what brings you here, boss? Is there something specific you need from us?" he asked.
Gray's expression turned serious as he responded to Gobius. "I came here to test out a new skill and to ensure that you and the others are safe after taking down such a formidable foe. A 4-star monster is no joke, and I wanted to see firsthand how you all handled it. Well done."
He paused for a moment, scanning the area once again. "And speaking of our main objective, have you made any progress in locating the mines?" Gray inquired.
Gobius nodded appreciatively, gratitude shining in his eyes. "Thank you for your concern, boss," he replied sincerely.
"Regarding our mission objective," Gobius continued, "I'm pleased to report that we've successfully located both the iron steel mine and the coal mine, thanks to Gobmir's exceptional ability in finding the ores. With his skill, we were able to pinpoint the exact locations of these valuable resources.
"Good job, you guys did well," Gray replied. He then turned his attention to the next course of action. "Now, let's head to where Gobusuke and Gobryx are. Lead the way, Gobius."
Gobius nodded in acknowledgment. "Got it, boss. Follow me," he responded, leading the way through the forest terrain.
After a few seconds of running, Gray and Gobius soon caught sight of Gobusuke and Gobryx working in perfect tandem, jointly carrying the massive bear.
"You guys really wrecked this place, huh?" Gray remarked, as he glanced around at the upturned ground and scattered debris, evidence of the intense battle that had taken place.
As Gobusuke, the Lightning Samurai Goblin, and Gobryx, the Dual Pistolero Goblin caught sight of Gray and Gobius approaching, they were momentarily taken aback, their brows furrowing in confusion. They exchanged puzzled glances, their expressions mirroring their thoughts.
Gobusuke spoke up first, his voice filled with uncertainty. "My lord, how did you get here? And why are you here?" he asked, a mix of curiosity and bewilderment evident in his tone.
Gobryx chimed in, his voice equally perplexed. "Yeah, boss. We didn't expect to see you here. Is everything alright?"
Gray chuckled softly at their reactions, understanding their confusion. He proceeded to explain the same thing he had said to Gobius.
Gobusuke and Gobryx exchanged glances, their astonishment slowly fading as they processed Gray's explanation. They nodded in understanding, realizing that their leader had found a way to traverse the distance quickly.
"You guys have done very well!" Gray exclaimed.
Gorbyx spoke up with a grin. "Thank you, boss! We gave it our all. We couldn't let that bear get the best of us. In all seriousness, that bear was a massive problem. It was one tough opponent. But thankfully, we managed to take it down successfully," he said, his playful smile fading as he adopted a more serious expression.
Gray listened intently, acknowledging their accomplishment with a nod of approval. However, a question lingered in his mind. "By the way, why is it just the three of you here? Where are the rest of the goblins?" he inquired, his gaze shifting between Gobusuke, Gorbyx, and Gobius.
Gobusuke stepped forward, providing an explanation. "The rest of the goblins are currently resting in the lizard men's territory," he replied. "After the long journey, they needed some time to recover and replenish their strength. I decided that the three of us would face the bear, hoping to make progress while they rested."
Gray nodded, understanding the reasoning behind Gobusuke's decision. "Alright, let's go to the lizard men's territory and join the rest of our goblin comrades," he suggested, determined to ensure the well-being of the entire team.
Gobusuke turned to Gobius, giving him a firm command. "Lead the way, Gobius. Take us to the lizard men's territory, and keep an eye out for any potential enemies along the path," he instructed, trusting Gobius's scouting abilities.
Not wanting to be left out, Gray joined Gobusuke and Gobryx in carrying the massive bear. Despite its size, the three of them managed to lift the beast.
Gray smiled as he joined Gobusuke and Gobryx in carrying the massive bear. "Sh*t. I must say, this freaking bear's sheer size and weight is no laughing matter."
With Gobius at the forefront, the group set off towards the lizard men's territory, making their way through the forest. Gobius maintained a vigilant watch, scanning the surroundings for any signs of danger.
After what seemed like an eternity of traversing the dense greenery, the group eventually reached their destination—the land of the lizard men. The group's journey had been quiet, with no encounters or signs of danger along the way.
However, amidst the calmness of the forest, there was one notable occurrence. Gray's attention had been caught by a peculiar discovery while he was checking his summons interface.
