Kapitel 279: THE SPELLS

When Magdalene woke up it was already past mid day, but she felt much better with the satisfying sleep she just hard. Her stomach grumbled reminding her that she needed food. It wasn't long after she left for the bathhouse did the servants came. Sometimes she wondered how they get the timing so right.

While they performed their duties, Magdalene enquired about the Lord and was told that he left the town for business, she was also informed about Lord Norman and her parents departure. She felt a little bad that she couldn't even see them off, Lucas was to blame for it she decided. The food was served after, it comprised of mostly vegetables and it made her wonder why, not that she didn't like vegetables but this was really different from her normal breakfast routine.

"Did everyone had this for breakfast?" she didn't ask because it didn't taste good, it was well prepared and tasty but the Demetrius household didn't eat much vegetables.
