Kapitel 233: HEALING THE KING

Magdalene spent the whole day boiling, sieving and mixing one or two strange things together. It took her the entire day to complete her task. After dinner with the royals she opted to retire to her bedroom. But she instructed the maids on what to do. Magdalene took the already made tonic to her room just to be on the safe side. When it was morning she took her tools with her to the dinning table for breakfast. She was still surprised to see the Duke again. The queen wasn't yet present so it was improper to start the meal without her. Soon the queen came and everyone greeted her a good morning before beginning breakfast.

"Would the king's treatment commence today?" Asked the queen and Magdalene nodded.

"I succeeded in making the Tonic, although their are a lot of processes involved in his treatment" She said.

"It doesn't matter, as long as father gets cured in the end" Said prince Bernard.

"How long will it take before the king get back on his feet?" Asked the Duke.
