Kapitel 153: DEATH IS CALLING

The place was dark and eerie and void of life. Magdalene was sure that it was euphoria. The houses all looked the same except that it was dark and broken with twigs wrapped around it. It was lifeless, no single sounds or persons walking on the street, it was just her. The cold breeze passed her ears. Magdalene walked into another street to find it in the same condition. Why wasn't she in the castle? What happened to Euphoria? where was Lucas?, all those questions lingered in her mind.

"Lord Lucas!" Magdalene called

"Lord Lucas - Lord Lucas - Lucas Lucas!" Her voice echoed in the empty street.

Was she dreaming, what was happening to her. Magdalene kept walking trying to find familiar routes to the castle. She met no living creature as she kept walking, no moving carriage, not even an animal. The night was cold and lifeless . The houses looked dull, old and abandoned.
