Kapitel 74: An old friend

At the corridor before she would step inside her room, Eve saw the portrait she had first came across about Evilyna. As she gazed at it, she remembered seeing a shadow at the glass and when she turned to look behind her, there was no one there. Could it be her other half? There was a possibility she was the one. She hadn't encountered since that night she had seen her completely and she wondered if she could meet her again.

Eve opened the door of her room and stepped inside, pulling her coat and dropping it in the coatstand by the door.

When souls are split, the dead one mostly crave the life the other had. This could be the reason the second soul attacked her. Eve continued to think as she slowly pulled down the zip of her dress that was fixed to the front. She craved the life Eve was living and wanted to kill her, to have her life. The was the rule of splitting souls, one had to die for one to live.
