Kapitel 244: Black and white, part 1

A month passed.

It seemed like a long time, but for Cael, it was really way too short. Because the Major Council of Clans has gathered, yet Ginevra still didn't reach the Eternal Dusk Court!

He was on his own, with nothing but words to sway the minds of these vampires.

27 Clan Heads gathered in the biggest hall of the Eternal Dusk Court. It was a grand place with tall, stained glass windows. Each window showed a scene from the tale of the creation of vampires.

In the center of the hall was a large, oval table, at the head of which, on the chair that rose slightly higher than everyone else's, sat Rainer of the Eternal Dusk Clan. Other Clan Heads sat around the table in order of their importance.

Each of them had two small bowls in front of them: one with black pebbles, one with white.
