"Daughter?" German frowned. "You killed someone? If he was a human, this might get you into bigger trouble with the law! Oh, why are you so reckless?"

"I didn't do it for nothing. Father… ever since I was exiled, I had to make my own way in the world. It took a while, but when I stood on my own feet, I knew that even if the Clans rejected me, I was still a part of them. I needed to help our kind somehow. And you, especially. So I began to use my charms to gather information about anyone who might threaten vampires."
