To say that this whole ordeal had been surreal would be an understatement. I had been fucking kidnapped. Well, first I had my mind blown by revelation after revelation. And it was all for nothing. 

Well, OK, maybe not nothing. Brittney had hated my dad and wanted revenge. The same went for Tide, who was the biggest pervy asshole that ever existed. However, everything supposedly stemmed from Ula, the woman that thought she was my mother. How dense could you get?

Anyway, it was frightening. From start to finish, I had been so scared that I thought I would never see my family again. That I would die and no one would ever find my body. And most of all, I was terrified that the man, Tide, was going to do things to me that I didn't want.
