Sarah looked at herself in the mirror, forcing a bitter smile on her lips.
"Do you regret it?" Weyna asked.
Sarah turned, blinked her eyes, and shook her head. "Nope. I think I look cute with this short hair, right?" Her voice trembled, hinting at the pain she was holding inside.
"You've pulled off every style, Sarah. You look beautiful," Weyna reassured, embracing her best friend.
Before heading to the resort that evening, Sarah insisted on making a stop at the hair salon. She wanted to cut her hair short, something she hadn't done in ten years. This time, she opted for a medium-length cut with a wavy perm. Weyna agreed without questioning the reason behind Sarah's decision.
Weyna finished fixing Sarah's hair one last time and took a step back. She examined her from head to toe and raised two thumbs up. "You look absolutely gorgeous," she exclaimed with a smile.
"Thank you," Sarah replied, her eyes becoming glassy with emotion.
"Remember, don't be timid. Show him that you're not someone to be stepped on, and the same goes for that bitch. If you need anything, just call me directly. I'll be right here, ready to support you," Weyna reminded her, emphasising her unwavering support.
Sarah nodded, making her way to the door. She slipped on the high heels that Weyna had brought, completing the set with the dress. Before leaving, she cast one more glance at Weyna, her large doe-like eyes filled with hope. "Wish me luck," she said softly.
"Good luck!" Weyna exclaimed without hesitation, her voice filled with encouragement.

Sarah walked to the lobby of the resort, clutching the invitation card in her hand. She approached the reception desk and inquired about the location of the party. Once she received the necessary directions, she made her way towards the venue with a determined stride.
As she reached the entrance of the party, Sarah hesitated for a moment before peering inside. The room was brimming with women, and her gaze immediately locked onto Grace, who sat confidently in a chair on the right side. Sarah's eyes met Grace's, and in that moment, she could sense a subtle smirk forming on Grace's face.
Suddenly, Grace stood up and raised her voice, capturing the attention of everyone in the room. "Let's welcome the main guest for the party tonight!" she declared, her tone dripping with arrogance.
Sarah's intuition kicked in, and she felt a sense of unease wash over her. Something felt off about this gathering. Noah was nowhere to be seen, and she couldn't shake the feeling that every person in the room was aligned with Grace, as evidenced by the disdainful glances directed her way.
Quickly turning around, Sarah was ready to leave the party when Grace once again stopped her. "She is the stalker who has been bugging Noah and faking the marriage certificate," Grace's voice filled the venue near the swimming pool.
Sarah's heart skipped a beat as Grace's words resonated through the crowd. She froze, feeling the weight of everyone's eyes on her. Panic and disbelief surged through her veins. How could she fall so easily into Grace's trap?
Without hesitation, Sarah mustered her courage and turned to face Grace, her voice shaking but determined. "That's not true! She is lying," she walked forward as she retorted, her words echoing through the tense atmosphere.
Grace stepped closer to where Sarah stood, a smug expression appeared on her face. "Do you have any proof?" She challenged Sarah.
Sarah's mind raced, searching for any evidence that could refute Grace's claims. She knew she needed to defend herself, to prove her innocence. The room fell into an expectant silence as all eyes were on Sarah, waiting for her response.
"I can call Noah to prove it!" Sarah declared, her voice filled with desperation. She fumbled with her trembling hands, unlocking her phone and dialling Noah's number.
'Please pick up the phone,' Sarah prayed hard in her heart.
"Where are you?" Noah's voice came through the phone as the call connected.
Sarah's eyes widened with a glimmer of hope. She looked straight at Grace, who stood before her, and spoke with determination, "Attana Resort."
Before she could utter another word, Grace snatched the phone from Sarah's hand and flung it into the pool. Sarah's jaw dropped in disbelief, and frustration welled up inside her.
"What are you doing?!" Sarah shouted, her voice laced with shock and anger. Grace's actions was absurd.
"Who do you think you are?" Grace seethed, her eyes burning with anger.
"And who do you think you are?" Sarah shot back, her voice filled with a mixture of anxiety and fear.
"I am his fiance, and you came between us, trying to break everything," Grace gritted her teeth, her words dripping with resentment.
Sarah, unsure of how to respond, found herself at a loss for words. She simply stared back at Grace, unable to formulate a suitable reply in the heat of the moment.
"Choosing red?" Grace chuckled, her tone laced with irritation as her eyes scrutinised Sarah's dress. The confusion etched on Sarah's face deepened as she tried to comprehend Grace's reaction.
Grace was infuriated that her plan had not unfolded as she had anticipated. She had expected Sarah to appear in the white dress she had sent her, but here she was, stunning everyone in a captivating red dress that drew unwavering attention.
The delicate straps adorned Sarah's shoulders, adding a touch of sophistication to her attire. They ran smoothly from one shoulder to the other, enhancing her graceful neckline and framing her face with elegance. However, these straps seemed to agitate Grace, evident from her sudden action.
Without warning, she firmly grasped the right strap, her intent clear in her grip.
"What are you doing?!" Sarah's voice trembled with panic as she reacted swiftly, gripping onto the strap, desperately trying to prevent Grace from tearing it apart.
"Strip you naked! You're wearing something that doesn't belong to you! Did you steal it?" Grace's words were aimed to further ignite the already tense situation. She was clearly trying to escalate matters. Seeking support, Grace turned to Luna, who had been observing the scene from the sidelines. "Luna, help me."
Sarah involuntarily took a step back, her grip on the strap tightening as she fought to maintain her composure. All eyes were fixated on her, waiting to see how the confrontation would unfold. Grace and Luna advanced closer, a triumphant smile forming on Grace's face as she believed victory was within her grasp.
With a sudden release, Grace let go of Sarah's dress, exchanging a meaningful glance with Luna. "One, two, three!" In a sudden, coordinated motion, Grace and Luna forcefully pushed Sarah into the swimming pool.
The action came as a shock to everyone in the room, including Sarah, who was caught off guard by the unexpected assault. The sound of the splash reverberated through the venue as Sarah submerged beneath the water's surface.
"What have you done?!" A voice could be heard from the main entrance, cutting through the shocked silence. Rushing towards the swimming pool, the figure hurriedly reached out to help Sarah out of the water, leaving everyone in the room stunned and wide-eyed.
