Kapitel 107: 107: Friendship is dated

I stood silently on the balcony of my chambers. Starting at the beautiful moon in the sky. The soundproof rooms of the palace kept the noise of life away from my reach. 

I only heard the sound of my thoughts. My mind raced to the sins that weighed on my shoulders. I pondered on the debaucheries I committed easily to survive and get the things I wanted in life. 

The lives I ruined to have a happy ending for myself. The parts of me I killed on the way to get to the point where I stood. There was blood on my hands as people and things had to die for me to get to a point where I had all I'd ever wanted. 

If memories could bleed them my soul would be tainted with the blood of those I've killed. And if dreams could scream then my nightmares would haunt my existence. 

"You look troubled. "

I averted my gaze from the sky to my room. Lost in my head, I failed to notice him arrive. "I'm fine, " I responded.
