Upon entering the house, Bo Yanching set Nan Jiaojiao down. He bent over to look for shoes, his hand grazing the wall, expertly finding the switch. Just as he was about to turn it on, he glanced back and his dark pupils suddenly tightened.

Nan Jiaojiao stood against the wall, burying herself in the corner, her slender body thinning into a line. She hung her head low without uttering a word.

His face slightly changed, he walked over, hooked her waist, and drew her into his arms, lifting her face to kiss her.

Nan Jiaojiao did not resist, nor did she respond—her lips were still, yielding to his endeavor.

Bo Yanching patiently kissed her, from deep to shallow, then slowly pecking, until at last, Nan Jiaojiao impatiently responded.
