Kapitel 121: Trick 120: Magic Guns!
Sharon walked in and looked over, holding out her gun, saying "Who- Oh! You're here~!" Ace smiled and spread his arms, "I missed you." Sharon ran over and hugged him, laying down on the couch as Hermione blinked, moving to a single seat…
Sharon rested her head on his chest, asking "How long are you staying?" Ace smiled "Probably a long time. Hermione will be studying, me too, but I'll be moving from here to Asgard every couple days to check on things. Plus, I have to watch over the Earth just in case something happens again. Last time I left, a robot almost blew the Earth up…"
Sharon tapped on his chest with her finger, saying "I heard you were really badass…" Ace was stunned and asked "From who?" Sharon smiled slightly, "A certain agent." Ace clicked his tongue "Romanoff? That two timing…"
Sharon laughed, "No, Clint. We're friends." Ace let out a breath and said "Oh… Much better… And I saved his life." he pulled up his shirt and showed her the bullet hole, "See?"
Sharon looked at it and purred "Mmm. My hero." Ace pulled her close and smiled "Are you a damsel in distress?" Sharon kissed him, whispering "I'd like to be~" Ace chuckled and the couch flipped like a rotating door as the duo disappeared.
Hermione wretched and continued reading in silence…
The days passed
Sharon came back from work and paused, staring at the living room.
Ace was shirtless, scars all over his body, wearing pants and boots with machinist goggles as a gun floated in front of him. He said "Hermione, is the Vibranium done?" Hermione pushed up a glob of metal.
Ace spread his fingers apart as the gun separated to its basic components. He curled his fingers on his other hand and the glob of metal coated some pieces, recreated others before floating in front of Ace as his finger turned bright purple.
He was inscribing runes when Sharon dropped her bag saying "Um… What's going on?" Hermione turned to her and smiled, "Artifact Making." before turning back as Ace held out his hand, curling his fingers at Hermione.
She put a metal spike with runes on it in his hand as he took the spike and grabbed the air, a purple hammer appearing as he tapped in the rune marks, saying "Dragon bones." Hermione handed him the dragon bones and Ace snapped his fingers.
The dragon bones sank into the Vibranium parts, turning a beautiful shimmering white with purple glowing runes and intricate patterns in them.
He snapped his fingers and said "Unicorn horn." Hermione handed it to him and the horn turned into ivory handle grips. He held out his hand and said again "Mana Conversion Turbine."
Hermione pulled out a huge device, Ace touched it and said "Oh. Forgot about that part…" he snapped his fingers and flicked his wrist with a twirl. The Mana Conversion Turbine shrank down and sat comfortably in the handle.
Hermione handed him the block of Silvertree wood. Ace smiled and said "Good girl." as the wood morphed around.
Sharon watched in shock as she said "This is…" Ace replied "Mana Pistol… Name's a work in progress…" as he manipulated the pieces around, inscribing runes into every single component, even the tiny ones inside the gun itself.
Ace spread out his arms and clapped them together over the gun when he was done inscribing. The Machinist goggles glowed purple and Ace spread his hands apart, the Gun rotating in a bubble.
He frowned and snapped his fingers on both hands, the gun spun around and steam started coming out of it. He smiled and the gun spun faster and faster as Ace pierced the bubble with a finger, making finishing touches.
Suddenly, he clapped over the gun again, making it disappear before flipping his palm and pulling it out of his hand slowly. The gun slowly emerged from his skin and sizzled on the air until it was all out.
He held it and turned it over a few times, he turned and fired it across the room.
Sharon covered her head and there was a loud bang. She turned her head to see a fist sized hole in a pillar of steel, the edges red hot.
Ace hummed and said "Fire bullets work. Let's try the ice ones next." Hermione nodded and wrote it down as Sharon shouted "Wait! Not in my place!" Ace looked at her in confusion, before realizing, he smiled gently and said "Don't worry. I already set a barrier on everything in here, look."
Ace turned and punched the tv, but nothing happened. In fact, Ace shook his hand, groaning "Oh my god… why am I so stupid…"
Sharon looked at him and sighed "Then can you at least let me know when you're going to fire magic bullets in my house?" as she held his hand, rubbing it softly. Ace smiled happily and said "Actually, this is for you!"
Sharon froze and looked at him in shock, Ace stroked her cheek and put the gun in her hands, saying "Happy Birthday!" before plopping down on the couch and turning on the Tv.
Sharon held the gun speechlessly, staring at Ace as tears pooled up. Hermione groaned and closed her book, walking out of the living room as Sharon jumped at Ace, hugging him, "I love you!" Ace kissed her and pulled her close, saying "Me too! You never know when a robot is going to show up and attack you, this will keep you alive a little longer." as he wrapped his arm around her, turning back to the tv and humming to himself.
Sharon snuggled up to him and smiled gently, asking "What about yours?" Ace pulled out his gun and smiled, "Already done." as he shot at the Tv, the bullet bounced back and froze his head.
The ice shattered and Ace rubbed his forehead, looking at the gun with a frown. Sharon laughed and rested her head on his shoulder, asking "So how does it work?" Ace grinned and put his gun back into his under arm holster, explaining "Okay so the Mana Conversion Turbine, MCT for short, takes in Aether Energy in the air and-"
Sharon pinched his lips and said "I meant what does it do." Ace replied "Oh! Well it shoots bullets. You see that little dial? The gun cycles through several elements, Ice, Flames, Lightning, and Light. The other elements aren't useful here, Dark bullets won't do anything either… Anyway! They basically all do the same thing, the Lightning Bullets are just as fast as lightning… Flame bullets have fire, you get it, right?"
Sharon flipped over the gun and smiled "It's so beautiful! I can't wait to use it." Ace's mouth twitched and he said "Don't use it to-" Sharon pinched his lips and smiled, "Just shut up for today. It's my birthday." Ace scratched his cheek and Sharon hugged his arm, smiling happily.
