Kapitel 59: Trick 58: Pickpocketing Wizards is actually quite fun!

Ace was overwhelmed as he sat on a private plane, flying to London, only to be met by a professional attendant when he landed. Ace swallowed to himself and said "Uhm. That'll be all, thank you. Send my regards to Mr. Stark."

The attendant bowed and said "Very well, Sir Cloak." before leaving.

Ace left quickly and looked around before stepping into a Phone booth. The Phone booth turned into an elevator and Ace appeared in the Ministry of Magic. He pulled out a new hightech phone from Tony, scratching his head as he tried reading the instructions on how to use it.

It was relatively simple, but Ace couldn't figure out how to listen to music on it. It was a complicated phone that was simple to operate if you were only using it for calls and texts, anything else…

Well, there were around 9372917380 apps and Ace was getting dizzy trying to figure out which one was the music app.

He did have bluetooth earbuds though!

The newest technology~!

As Ace was figuring out how to use his new phone, he bumped into Arthur Weasley! Arthur looked at him and smiled "Ace! How are you? What brings you to the Ministry?" Ace took out his earbuds, smiling "Arthur, I'm good. How are you?"

Arthur pulled his arm and walked, replying "Very good! Very good." Ace smiled and explained "I was given access to the Ministry's Library. I came to study before returning to Hogwarts this coming year."

Arthur nodded understandingly, asking "Any particular subject? Perhaps I could guide you?" Ace rubbed his chin and replied "At the moment, I wanted to study Artifacts more in-depth…"

Arthur snapped his fingers and said "Excellent! Not an issue at all, my friend. I know just the section. Come along." Ace followed him as Arthur walked to the Library, asking "How was your break from Hogwarts?"

Ace scratched his neck and smiled, "Uneventful." Arthur chuckled and shook his head, saying "Uneventful for you! The Ministry has been in a scramble recently." Ace tilted his head and looked at Arthur in confusion as he continued "You must've heard the Alien attack on the Muggles?"

Ace nodded and Arthur went on as they stepped into an elevator, "Well, a terrible event for the Muggles, truly. However, this hero 'Cloak' as he's called was seen using Magic and flying on a broom!" Ace grabbed a handle above his head, asking in confusion "And?"

Arthur clicked his tongue and pressed a button as the elevator started moving, replying, "Well, you see. The Ministry is not happy about this. Not happy at all. Currently, a search is underway to find the suspect." Ace was startled and asked "Do they have any leads?" Arthur shook his head, replying "Not quite, however, they do have a description. The suspect uses strange magic not known to our magic system, along with a purple hue in their various spells."

Ace frowned and asked "Oh yeah? The Ministry wants him in Azkaban?" Arthur sighed and replied "Unfortunately. You see, Ace, the Ministry doesn't truly care for Muggles. Their plights and issues are not of concern around here." he shook his head and whispered "The Pure-Blood Wizards would have you believe that the attack was a positive rather than a negative."

Ace blinked and Arthur continued normally, "The Ministry has a very serious law on use of magic in front of Muggles. As it risks exposing our world to them, causing conflict." Ace asked strangely, "Why is it a problem though. Wouldn't wizards have the upper hand?"

Arthur fell silent before whispering "I'll let you know something that's taboo, Ace. Once, a long time ago, there was a war between muggles and wizards. The reason why our world was hidden was because the Muggles won." Ace was stunned and stared at Arthur, who continued seriously, "Although many people will disagree with this, this is generally the most believed theory."

Arthur then smiled and added, "This is our history, therefore it's nothing to be ashamed about. Honestly, it sparked my interest in Muggles as a young boy. Now look at me." Ace let out a breath as Arthur chuckled, Ace said with a smile "You are a strange one, Arthur."

Arthur blinked and Ace added with a grin, "I'm glad to have you as a friend. Hahaha." Arthur smiled and the elevator opened as he chuckled, "Likewise! By the way, Ace, could it be possible to ask you some more questions?"

Ace nodded happily, explaining "I will most likely be in the Ministry for the time being, until Hogwarts is open for the school year again. I have a lot of time." Arthur's eyes lit up and he said happily, "Excellent! Right this way!"

He brought Ace to a section of the Library that focused on Artifacts and crafting before leaving as he checked his watch, "I have a meeting soon, however after that may I come ask you some questions?"

Ace nodded and smiled, "I'll be here." he waved a notebook and chuckled, "No where else to be, really." Arthur chuckled and shook Ace's hand, "Pleasure seeing you again, Ace! Truly." before leaving.

Ace turned to the books and sat down, he touched his gold necklace, sighing as he took out the notebook the Ancient One gifted him. He looked at it for a moment before shaking his head and starting to study once again.

A month slowly passed as Ace researched in depth at the Ministry. Every day, Arthur would come to chat about Muggles and various technological items that he was having trouble understanding.

During this month, Ace became adept at using the phone Tony gave him!

As more time passed, the day that he had to return to Hogwarts drew closer.

However, it was still a few weeks away.

Ace was currently at Ollivander's.

He was sitting in the store, asking Ollivander himself of the materials used to craft wands and if they were specifically for wands or if they had other properties. Although, he never asked him for his secret techniques, much to Ollivander's happiness.

Ace wasn't an idiot, asking someone for their secrets was a bit rude, and although he wanted to know, he wasn't going to make the conversation awkward. However! Ollivander let him in on a few techniques of making wands that were well known in the wand crafting community.

Ace wrote down a ton of information, gaining insight on artifact making, although it was just a bit of insight, it was still very helpful.

After he was finished, he thanked Ollivander and left the store, holding a box. He looked at his watch and walked along the road of Diagon alley until Arthur ran up to him. Ace smiled "Hey!" Arthur was taking quick breaths as he said "Ace! Finally, I found you!" he held his knees and Ace joked, "Surely somebody died?"

Arthur straightened up, rubbing his back as he replied "No, no. Nothing like that. I wanted to invite you to the Quidditch World Cup for all your help in my research!" Ace was stunned and asked in surprise "The Quidditch World Cup?"

Arthur nodded and replied "If you're not busy, of course." Ace blinked before replying simply, "I have literally nothing going on." Arthur smiled happily, inviting "Great! In 2 week's time, I'll bring you to my home. Then we will depart from there."

Ace nodded and Arthur patted his shoulders before walking away.

Ace scratched his cheek and smiled happily, he had never been to a Quidditch World Cup before. However, he was very interested! He really liked flying on a broom! It was really fun, plus he considered himself a good flier.

Of course, he didn't have a broom as both of his broke in New York and he was broke… As for stealing another one…

He didn't have his slingring…

Not to mention, he didn't get any pay from Hogwarts! So he was really just super broke, not that it was an issue…

Ace touched his lips and grinned, a quick pickpocket would solve his issues…

A few weeks later
